
Police are appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault in Carlisle.
Officers from Cumbria Constabulary said they were following new lines of enquiry surrounding the incident, which occurred on Sunday June 27 at 2am.
During the incident, a woman has been walking onto Grey Street from London Road when she was approached by a man who asked her a question.
The woman then walked between Flower Street and Garden Street, where the man grabbed the woman’s buttocks.
