The third round of the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship at Brands Hatch, Kent, was a mixed bag for Kendal’s Bradley Perie.
Leading the Championship going into round three, Perie got off to a positive start claiming yet another pole position in qualifying.
Race One started under wet conditions and in a battle for the lead he slid out of the race unceremoniously at Surtees.
Starting Feature Race Two from seventh on the grid gave him every chance of a podium finish but more rain scuppered hopes with a red flag and regroup of all riders.
The wet restart saw a tentative finish in eighth position, gaining him vital points.
Perie now sits in second in the Championship going into the next round at Thruxton, Hampshire, this weekend.
