The two people who died following a collision near Appleby at the weekend have been named.
Ryan Duffy, 24, from Ashton-in-Makerfield, and Ellie Marsden, 20, from Golborne, died following a one vehicle collision on the road from Kings Meaburn towards the B6260 near Drybeck on Sunday September 5.
Police were contacted at 7.40am after a white Citroen Berlingo was found off the road.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
Officers appeal for anyone who witnessed a white Citroen Berlingo van in the area or have information on this incident to get in touch.
