Police launched an operation in Workington two centre to tackle anti-social behaviour following an increase in call outs.
Officers from Allerdale Neighbourhood Policing team carried out the operation, and spoke with parents following a beach of an Acceptable Behaviour order Contract.
Officers also spoke to the parents of three youths reported spray painting graffiti under the multi-storey car park.
Problem solving sergeant Scott Adams said “ASB continues to be a priority for the Allerdale Neighbourhood Policing team.
“We know that the behaviour of a minority can have a detrimental effect on the communities we serve.
“We have now conducted a number of operations targeted at tackling anti-social behaviour within the town centre which has received positive feedback from staff working in the area.
“Parents can all support this by asking where their children are going, we would also encourage the public to continue to report anti-social behaviour as this is the best way to direct resources to the right areas to combat these incidents.
“Anyone with any information regarding anti-social behaviour is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111”
