Only two games went ahead in the Holmen Iggesund Cumberland ARL with victories for Glasson and Seaton A.

Glasson’s home clash with Wath Brow A was tight for a long time before eventually the hosts pulled away to win 34-18.

There were six tries in the end for Glasson from Matt Burns (2), Dan Fryer, Josh Ackerley, Ryan Morris and Brad Oglanby.  Gary Taylor kicked five goals.

Hornets stayed in the contest with tries from Greg Howland, Karl Olstrum and Ellis Curnow. Jenson Olstrum (2) and Jason Connery kicked the Brow goals.

Adam Lee won the Glasson Man of the Match award while Adam Hodgson picked-up the nomination for Hornets.

Plenty of points at Lowca where the home side were beaten 42-24 by Seaton A after the visitors had led 30-6 at half-time.

Cieran Walker made a big difference to Seaton. and he picked-up their man of the match award with two tries and seven goals.

The other tries came from Shaun Johnson, John Chisnall, Andy McGlasson, Matt Dixon and Peter Watson.

Lowca scored four tries through Luke Stockton, Jamie Haile, Matt Farrer and Marc Johnston. Tony Hetherington kicked two goals and Emmerson Allen was named as their man of the match.
