Carlisle City have a home tie in the first round proper of the FA Vase on October 23.
But fellow Cumbrian teams Cleator Moor Celtic and Penrith were out of luck in today’s draw and must travel next month.
City, who have reached the first round for the first time in 42 years, will entertain Chester-le-Street, fellow members of Northern League Division Two.
The Sky Blues will fancy their chances, too, of extending their run in the competition as the Street are some nine places and 11 points behind them in the table, from one more game played.
The Street got through on Saturday with a 2-0 home win against Easington Colliery which was probably unexpected as their visitors lie fifth in the table.
Cleator Moor Celtic, after a fine 3-2 home win over Harrogate Railway on Saturday, must travel to Barton Town. The Hoops have reached the first round proper for the first time in 29 years.
The Lincolnshire club won through on Saturday after a 1-1 draw at Staveley MW went to penalties and they came out on top 5-3 from the spot kick shoot-out.
They play in the Northern Counties East Premier Division and are currently fourth bottom with seven points. They have drawn all four home games and their only win was on the road.
Penrith must also travel after they were drawn away to Prestwich Heys of the North West Counties Premier Division, who reached the first round proper after a 7-2 thumping of Brigg Town.
They are 12th of 21 teams in the League with 15 points from their 11 games, but on recent form over the last six games are fourth with four wins out of six games.
