Workington Victoria will be holding five shows in their annual series which are staged in the town’s Union Jack Club.
There will be a first prize of £20 at each show and another £20 for most points in the series.
The series opens on Friday, November 19 and will be for old cocks with old hens the following week on Friday, November 26.
A show for young cocks follows on Friday, December 3 with young hens a week later on Friday, December 10.
It all culminates in a show for ticket wickets (any age cock or hen) on Friday, December 17.
Judging takes place at 7.30pm every week with entries at 50p a bird and 50p nomination (unlimited entries).
Face masks are to be worn when fanciers pen, and then unpen, their birds.
