“It’s not too late to sign up for the Skills Fair.”

That is the message of John Stevenson, MP for Carlisle.

Preparations are well underway for the 8th annual Carlisle Skills Fair to be held at Carlisle College on January 27, 2022.

Nearly 40 local businesses and training providers have already signed up to take part.

Mr Stevenson said: “I am delighted at the response from businesses in the area and the support I am seeing already. It was disappointing that the 2021 skills fair could no to go ahead due to COVID restrictions however I am determined that next year’s event will be bigger and better.

“It is not too late to sign up and all businesses are very welcome. Email [email protected] or call 01228550684 for more details, and of course, if you are looking for a training course, job or change of career, please save the date.”
