The funerals of Natalie and Harry Kane will be held next week.
The 27-year-old mum and her one-year-old son were found dead on December 30 in a Whitehaven property after concerns were raised about Natalie’s welfare.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances and the coroner has been informed.
A Gofundme page was set up to help give the pair ‘the best possible send-off’ and has so far raised £8,625, including an anonymous donation of £1,000. Anything extra raised will go to Women Out West.
Natalie and Harry’s funeral will be held at St Mary’s Church in Maryport on Monday, January 17 at 11am.
A wake will be held at Maryport Rugby Club from noon.
Two memorial events have also been held for Natalie and Harry – one in Maryport and one in Whitehaven.
Natalie’s brother, Shane Evitts, said she was a lovely person and a great mother.
Natalie, who also has a sister, Zoe, 28, of Workington, was originally from Maryport and was a former pupil of Netherhall School.
A statement from the group said: “All of us at Women Out West are absolutely heartbroken that our valued member Natalie and her beautiful son have died.
“Natalie was a wonderful mum and has been involved with WOW since the very beginning. Natalie volunteered her time to help clear out the unit where WOW stands today.
“Our thoughts are with Natalie’s friends and family and her Key worker, Nadine who worked closely with Natalie and Harry over the last year.
“Natalie touched the hearts of so many people. I will always remember her beaming smile and her wicked sense of humour.
“Most of all we will remember the love she had for Harry and how proud she was of him.
“We stand together with the loved ones of Natalie an d Harry and will do all we can to support them.
“We are also working with all other agencies and organisations as we come to terms with this terrible tragedy.”
