Drivers are urged to take care on the roads this morning as snow has arrived in the county overnight.

Our colleagues at Cumbria Road Watch are reporting slow traffic on the A66 in the Troutbeck area due to snow, affecting traffic both ways between Penrith and Threlkeld.

There’s also a slight covering of snow on the A684 in the Garsdale Head area and the road is passable with care.
