A silent candlelit vigil will be held in Carlisle tonight for Ukraine.
People are being asked to gather at the city’s Market Cross at 7pm in a show of solidarity for the country which has been invaded by Russia.
Last night, the city’s civic centre and Citadels were lit up in the blue and yellow colours of the Ukrainian flag.
