
People are being urged to make sure they carry their valuables in a front pocket or secure bag following a pickpocketing incident in Carlisle.
It happened on Friday February 11 at about 2.55pm outside Tesco on Victoria Viaduct.
A woman wearing a headband, facemask, long scarf, blue jeans, white trainers and rucksack reached into a man’s back pocket and took his wallet.
The woman may have been with three other people – two men and another woman.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
