The M6 is set to reopen soon following a collision this morning between a lorry and a van.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at 5.30am, involving the lorry and a van and it damaged around 80m of the central barrier.
The M6 was closed between junctions 37 and 38.
There was a small chlorine spillage from one of the vehicles, which has been cleared by the fire service.
Recovery and clear-up work has now been completed, National Highways said and it is hoped the road will reopen soon.
