
A woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Egremont.
Emergency services were called shortly before 9pm on Sunday night to a one-car crash on Main Street.
The car involved was a Vauxhall Astra.
The driver, a woman in her 40s, was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.
