Carlisle United fans of a certain vintage were able to enjoy their heroes treading the Brunton Park turf again at the weekend.
A reunion between successful teams from 1995 and 2006 attracted 1,389 and produced a day of nostalgia enjoyed by those on the pitch and those watching.
No one really bothered about the score and there were still touches from some of the players to remind the fans that “they had still got it.”
