
Kendal Town have been drawn away in the first round of the Macron Cup, the knock-out competition for North West Counties League sides.
The Mintcakes are facing up to life in the NWC following their relegation from the NPL West Division and will travel to Atherton LR in the first round on October 15.
Kendal will be playing in the Premier Division while their Cumbrian neighbours, Cleator Moor Celtic and Holker Old Boys continue in the First Division North.
Celtic, under new management this coming season – ex-Workington and Barrow forward Brian Dawson – have a home tie against Squires Gate.
Holker Old Boys also have a home tie in the Macron Cup and will host Burscough.
Premier Division clubs are not involved in the Edward Case Cup and both Celtic and Holker face away ties in the first round on October 8.
Celtic will travel to Bacup Borough while Holker Old Boys have been drawn away to South Liverpool.
