
Wath Brow have booked their place in the West Cumbria Youth League’s Under-13s top four final.
They eventually scored a convincing 38-14 win over their counterparts from Seaton after a tight first half. It had been a tough affair with both teams showing some excellent skills and the Brow eventually went in at the break leading 16-6.
The visitors were first to score after some good attacking rugby, but this was short lived as four minutes later the Brow hit back with two quick tries extending their lead to 28-10.
Seaton’s Ty Bell was a hat-trick hero for Seaton with three touchdowns while Coby Walker added a goal.
Seaton went on to score a consolation try before the young Hornets ran away with the game scoring two great tries to confirm their place in the top four trophy final.

The night was capped off when the team were presented with the Under-13’s league winner’s trophy. Two former Wath Brow stars, Karl Dixon and Andrew Bulman who now play for Whitehaven, made the presentation.
This coming Wednesday, July 20, they will contest the League cup final at Distington, kick off 6.30pm, against Seaton.
