Wild was devastated that the 126 traveling Barrow fans had nothing to show for their wonderful support and long journey home.
“We weren’t at our best but I thought we did enough to take home a point, and were denied that by a blatant mistake.
“It was our mistake that led to their goal but we had dominated afterwards and deserved the goal. I feel so sorry for the fans who gave us such tremendous support,” said Wild.
A long clearance from home keeper Jack Rose bounced and was misjudged by his Barrow opposite number Paul Farman allowing Tope Fadahunsi to score easily.
