Helen Skelton has said she is ‘loving every second’ of her Strictly journey so far- despite her sore feet.

The Countryfile star, 39, took to her Instagram stories and grid to share snaps of her training with professional dance partner Gorka Marquez alongside some pictures her ‘trotters’ post-training.

In the snap, Helen’s feet are indented and red from her dancing shoes, but she was keen to share that it hasn’t put a stop to her training.

She said: “And the aim of the game is to be sexy…not with these trotters! No pain no gain.”

On her Instagram grid she posed with Gorka to give fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the effort going into her next Strictly performance.

Helen said: “Feet on fire and head exploding but loving every second of this journey. It’s been a big old week of training so far and still a lot to do…here’s to the feet and hips doing what the boss says.”

She added that Gorka has been finding time to laugh and prank everyone around the pair, including members of the show’s camera crew, despite the intense training.

Just last week, Penrith took centre stage on prime time TV as fans watched Helen and Gorka rehearse at Penrith Parish Centre.
