Carl Forber has re-signed for Workington Town as they return to League One for the 2023 season.
The veteran half-back is a record goal-kicker for the club with over 1,000 points in two spells at Derwent Park.
He first played between 2007 and 2009 after starting his career with St. Helens and Leigh.
Blackpool and Oldham were stepping off spots for the 37-year-old who has been back with Town since 2012.
The recent signing of Jason Mossop, followed by that of Forber, certainly boost the experience in Anthony Murray’s squad.
As well as those two familiar faces back at the club, Town have also announced that long-established supporters of the club Myers and Bowman are back as the main shirt sponsors for 2023.
They have been involved for many years in backing Workington Town in some fashion.
