Carlisle United were unable to find a winner as they shared the spoils with Sutton United 1-1 at Brunton Park.
Ryan Edmondson had scored his fourth goal in six games opened to give the Blues the lead after half an hour.
The visitors had been caught out with a short corner and Edmondson headed home Owen Moxon’s cross.
Sutton then had their best spell and drew level just before the break. Home keeper Tomas Holy did well to keep out a shot from Will Randall but could do nothing to keep out the follow-up from the same player.
Edmondson had earlier had a good chance but his shot from Jon Mellish’s set-up header was past the post.
Callum Guy was also close with a good effort when Jordan Gibson gave him a shooting opportunity when he might have tried himself.
Carlisle had the ball in the net on two occasions in the second-half but on each occasion had them ruled out – once for a foul in the build-up and the second one for an offside decision against Edmondson.
Carlisle looked the side most likely to grab a winner in the closing stages and Edmondson was closest but put his effort onto the roof of the net.
