Morris and Wayne McLuckie continue winning run

Morris and Wayne McLuckie continued their winning run in the local winter shows with success at Workington Victoria.

Ernie McCance judged a class of 74 young cocks and it was one of the McLuckie brothers’ entries which caught his eye to take the winning ticket.

The brothers were fresh from their success at the Flimby HS series where they were the most points winners over the four shows.

They picked up £104 from their success at the Union Jack Club with the winning pigeon their nomination.

Tickets were awarded to:

  • McLuckie bros
  • J and A Edgar
  • L Pearson
  • A Hayton
  • Williams and Hadfield
  • McLuckie bros
  • N Semple
  • L Tinnion

The show was sponsored by the Union Jack Club and there were specials from Ernie McCance and Northern Trophies.

Next Friday’s show in the Union Jack is for Young hens.
