Williams and Hadfield picked up £105 last night after success at the latest show organised by the Workington Victoria club in the Union Jack Club.
Their entry was picked out as best in show among a class of 70 young hens which were judged by Neil Buchanan.
The winner, a blue hen, was a nomination pick and also picked-up a judge’s special.

Next week’s show is for all the ticket winners while there will be a class for the fancy coloureds. Judging to start at 7.30pm.
