Barrow have allowed striker Richie Bennett to join Scunthorpe United for the rest of the season.
The Iron, relegated from League Two last season, are fighting a battle to stay in the National League and are currently in the drop zone.
It is purely a bid to get more first team minutes into Bennett while also being of assistance to Scunthorpe in their battle to survive.
The deal includes a recall period after the first 28 days, where the front man can return from Glanford Park to The Bluebirds.
Bennett re-joined Barrow last summer from Sutton United, following spells at Carlisle United, Morecambe, Port Vale and Stockport County.
A nasty injury in pre-season condemned Bennett to the side-lines for some time and since returning to action in November, he has featured 14 times but not been able to re-capture his old dash and form.
The 31-year-old Oldham-born Bennett first played for Barrow in 2016-17 when he hit 15 goals in 43 appearances.
It earned him his first move to the Football League and he managed ten goals in 59 appearances for Carlisle Utd over two seasons.
