Cumbria will follow up Sunday’s T20 matches with two more in Shrewsbury.
The county side are due to play NCCA matches at Barrow Cricket Club this weekend and will travel straight to Wem Cricket Club to face Shropshire on Monday.
If no injuries are picked up at Barrow, the same squad of 12 will represent Cumbria.
Tom Fell, formerly of Worcestershire (97 first class games and 52 List A games) is the star signing this year for Shropshire.
But their squad also features 22-year-old bowler Mitchell Stanley who not only is contracted by Worcestershire also featured in the Hundred for the Manchester franchise and has retained his spot with them for 2023.
Andre Bradford, their top run scorer in the T20 competition with 230 runs last year is also available this season for the first time. Adding to the Worcestershire connection Ollie Westbury previously played for that first class county in the county championship after earlier representing England under-19s.
Shropshire were due to play Cheshire last weekend but both games were abandoned due to the weather, so like Cumbria, they technically prop up the bottom of the group table with only two points.
Last year was the first time that the two counties were due to play each other in the T20 format, but both matches were abandoned at Netherfield.
