
A man has been charged by police in connection with a £4.5 million cannabis farm found in Carlisle.
Police were called at around 2.45pm on Wednesday to Lancaster Street in Carlisle to the report of an alleged cannabis farm.
Officers gained access to the property, found the farm and recovered 450kg of harvested cannabis ready for distribution.
Edmond Pula, 28, of no fixed abode, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis and production of cannabis. He has been remanded in custody.
Two men remain in hospital having sustained serious injuries. Detectives said they will interview both men when they are released from hospital.
