A man has been arrested for possessing a firearm and cocaine after police carried out raids in Maryport.
Police carried out the raids at the town’s Station Inn and an address on Mulgrew Close.
The 44-year-old man remains in custody.
Officers said a woman is due to be interviewed in relation to a possession of heroin charge.
The raids were carried out by Allerdale Neighbourhood Policing Team, the Intelligence Unit, Task Force and Community Serious and Organised Crime.
Detective Constable Emma Davidson, of the Intelligence Unit, said: “This is another successful operation between the Intelligence Unit and Neighbourhood Policing Team to tackle issues within our community.
“By working together, we can build out intelligence on issues and target individuals as we have done today through these warrants.”
Community Beat Officer for Maryport Sam Steele added: “As the dedicated officer for the area it’s great to work with other departments such as the Intelligence unit to tackle the local issues I am seeing in the community.”
