Cumbria will play a Development X1 game with Staffordshire tomorrow at the Bignall End club.

Nathan Waterston of Furness, who was left out of the senior side on Sunday, to accommodate an extra bowler in experienced debutant Chris Wright, will lead the side.

It will be a 50-overs a side contest and Waterston will have current first choice Cumbrias wicket-keeper Finlay Richardson of Kendal in his side.

Former Workington pace bowler Regan Jackson, who left to join Gateshead Fell, is included along with talented former Sedburgh School batsman Evan Williams from the Greenmount club in Bury.

Apart from those two the rest of the side play their cricket for Cumbrian clubs.

The team to play Staffordshire Senior Development Team is: Nathan Waterston  (Furness,  captain), Faizan Ghumman (Furness), Evan Williams (Greenmount), Reece Irving (Netherfield), Finlay Richardson (Kendal), James Bowman (Penrith), Alister Craig (Penrith, wk), Josh Brown (Cockermouth), Louis Backhouse (Netherfield), Declan Tyson (Millom), Regan Jackson (Gateshead Fell).

The match is scheduled to start at 11am.
