The A66 was closed in both directions following a crash yesterday.
There is queueing traffic due to the incident between the Warcop turn-off and Brough.
Police said they were called to the scene at around 12.15pm yesterday, June 27.
National Highways said the road was expected to be clear between 8pm and 8.15pm.
