Mystery continues over month-long closure of Cumbrian Greggs store

Greggs has remained tight-lipped over a Cumbrian store that has remained closed for over a month.

A sign in the Egremont Main Street bakery’s window was first spotted on June 15 stating that it had closed for essential maintenance and would reopen soon.

It is believed the store had already been closed for a number of days when the sign was first spotted.

Rumours have been circulating around the reason behind the closure – but the firm have not been forthcoming with an explanation.

Greggs are still yet to fully address the situation and have been approached for comment
