Carlisle United can expect to meet up with former loanee John-Kymani Gordon in League One this year.
At least three clubs from the third tier of English football are interested in taking the 20-year-old striker on a season-long loan.
Gordon spent the second-half of last season on loan with Carlisle and it seems as though Crystal Palace believe the player will benefit from the experience of a full season with a new club.
Burton Albion, Fleetwood Town (who drew at Carlisle on Saturday) and Oxford United are said to be the clubs vying for his services in the months ahead. Bradford City of League Two have also been mentioned along with the Belgian side RWD Molenbeek.
Before moving on loan to Carlisle inn League Two Gordon had been a regular in Crystal Palace’s Premier League 2 side. He made 10 appearances for the Under-21s.
Playing in League One on a more consistent basis will be part of Gordon’s development if Palace think he has a future with them.
