
An arrest has been made after a man was seriously injured in a Workington attack.
Police were called at around 6.30pm yesterday, August 15, to the area of South William Street.
The man, in his 20s from Workington, was taken to Carlisle’s Cumberland Infirmary for treatment.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm without intent.
He remains in police custody.
