
A man has been attacked by four youngsters wearing balaclavas in Workington.
He was walking down Pow Street when he was assaulted from behind – as the gang knocked him to the floor before kicking and punching him.
The man, in his 30s, did not attend hospital but was left with facial injuries after the assault, which happened on July 7.
Police have only released the details now as they ask for anyone with information about the gang to come forward to help with the investigation.
They were described as being in dark clothing. One was said to have ginger hair and another was on a bike. It is believed that these offenders were young.
