Following new lines of enquiry, police are appealing for information following a report of criminal damage to a black Nissan Qashqui in Barrow.
The incident occurred on Wednesday September 20 between 11am and 3pm. The vehicle was parked on Dalton Lane, opposite Furness General Hospital.
The report was of something being put on the car that has removed the paint on part of the vehicle.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident, or any dash cameras in nearby vehicles at that time.
