A crowd of people queued to be first through the door of Workington’s new TK Maxx store.
Spanning two floors and 15,477sq ft, TK Maxx has opened in the former Debenhams branch in Washington Square.
It has created around 30 jobs.
A spokesman for TK Maxx said: “We are thrilled to bring TK Maxx to Workington, giving local shoppers the chance to shop high-brand fashion, accessories, and more, all at great prices.
“We want to give our valued Workington treasure seekers the best shopping experience possible, and we’re confident they will enjoy our new bright and beautiful store!”
