
Two teen boys have been arrested after concerns over images circulating on social media.
The youngsters have been arrested on suspicion of causing unnecessary suffering to an animal.
Copeland Police said: “Officers became aware of concerns in the community over images appearing to relate to the treatment of a bird at Whitehaven Harbour.
“Officers are appealing for any information that could help the enquiry.”
