You could own an ancient woodland and Stone Age caves in Cumbria for around £100,000.
The 9.06 acre Kirkhead Wood and Kirkhead Caves, is on the market with H&H Land & Estates.
Kirkhead Caves and Woodland is close to the village of Lower Allithwaite, near Grange-over-Sands.
Kirkhead Caves is a scheduled monument and one of only three known Palaeolithic or Old Stone Age caves in Cumbria.
Excavations of the cave have revealed signs of human occupation dating back at least 12,000 years, including items such like remains of animal and human bones, late Bronze Age pottery, and flints which suggest a late Neolithic occupation.
In more recent times, the cave has hosted some of the most unique parties in Cumbria, known by many as the ‘rave in the cave’.

In recent years, the interest in buying UK woodland has grown significantly both as a long-term investment opportunity and for leisure or recreational purposes, H&H Land & Estates said.
Mark Barrow, H&H Land & Estates director, said: “These woodlands and its caves have given sanctuary and enormous pleasure to many generations, and there will undoubtedly be a great deal of interest in securing them for generations to come.”
It has an existing right of access from the village, but no services, and is free from any Stewardship or Management Scheme restrictions.
Kirkhead Caves and Woodland is offered for sale freehold through H&H Land & Estates with offers invited over £100,000.
