Appeal for witnesses of Maryport fight

Police officers in high visibility jackets

Police are asking for witnesses to come forward after a fight in Maryport.

The incident, involving two men, happened on Victory Crescent on December 28 at around 4pm.

A 28-year-old Maryport man has been arrested on suspicion of affray. He has since been bailed.

Police said several people were present during the incident, some of whom have been spoken to but officers have asked for anyone else who was present to come forward.

Anyone were present during the incident or anyone who has any further information is asked to call 101, quoting log number 146 of the 28th. Report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/reportit
