Are you ready to master your body for life? From its home in California, Foundation Training classes have arrived in Cumbria!

Holistic. Innovative. Simple, yet challenging – Foundation Training is for any age and any fitness level – for everyone!

Foundation Training was designed to help back pain in particular, but it is also great for sciatica, knee or hip injuries. It helps to improve your posture as well as balance, and overall wellbeing to help you live life to the full.

Foundation Training gives you strength, flexibility and an understanding of how your body works.

By activating the muscles of your back, hips, glutes and legs through a series of exercises, change happens. Listening to your body, feel the freedom of pain releasing and the excitement of a strengthening body!

Kate has been a Foundation Training instructor since 2018. Looking for a way to relieve severe Achilles pain after a Full Ironman in 2017, she went to sunny California to train.

The day after the course finished Kate completed an uphill run without any pain!

Keen to help others get similar freedom from pain, Kate set up both online and in-person classes and the success stories are multiplying!

Foundation Training has been life changing for me after breaking my arm and damaging my back.

With Kate’s support and encouragement, I have been able to move freely, and understand how my body needs to and should be moving. FT has allowed me to get back to living.

Lorraine, Cumbria

Kate says, “What I love about Foundation Training is how little practice, just 10 minutes a day, can make such a big difference in how one feels and moves.”
