Police are investigating a burglary at Wetheral Street in Carlisle in the early hours of Tuesday.
It is believed the incident may also be linked to a suspicious incident on the city’s Dalston Road, which occurred around the same time.
Officers are asking residents local to the area of Dalston Road and Shaddongate to check CCTV systems and any Ring Doorbell cameras for any footage of suspicious activity between 2am and 4am.
Police are particularly keen to view footage of a male wearing gloves and a waterproof jacket, together with a second male who was wearing a hooded jacket. Both were in the area at the time of the incident.
