A new patron has been revealed for Blood Bikes Cumbria.
Steph Finnon, the daytime presenter on BBC Radio Cumbria, has taken on the role from Val Armstrong, who stepped down following her retirement from the station.
Blood Bikes Cumbria said on social media: “Steph has already been a great friend to Blood Bikes Cumbria and we look forward to working with her more!”
The charity provides a free out-of-hours medical courier service 365 days of the year for urgently needed blood products, samples, breast milk and other medical requirements in the county.
