Parkside drawn away to The Sun

Sunday County Cup holders Parkside have been drawn away to The Sun in the second round of the competition.

Parkside have started the season poorly, and have been struggling for a team, with last Sunday’s game conceded at Moresby Rangers.

The second round ties are being played on November 10 and Parkside will be hoping to get themselves pulled round by then.

Northside, beaten finalists last season and West Cumberland Sunday League champions, have a home tie against Swan.

Two ties stand-out in the west half of the draw – Dearham Commercial v Moresby Rangers and Lowca Pirates v Deer Orchard – which involves three of the current top four in the Premier Division.

Other west ties are: Borough Miners v Whitehaven Development; Salterbeck v Sun Inn Athletic; Senhouse Street v Blue Bell; Royal Oak v King’s Arms.

In the East section of the draw Inter Pirelli, who dominated the competition until last season, have been drawn away to Museum Inn.

The other good looking ties are Jovial Sailor v Scotby and Dalston v Denton Holme.

Completing the East section are: Beehive Reunited v Longtown; Currock v Dalston Junior Black Reds 2000; FC Houghton v Re-United; Qzone v Redfern Inn; St. Nicholas Arms v Dalston Junior Black Reds.

Those ties will also be played on November 10.
