A West Cumbrian school is closed for a week due to damage from Storm Éowyn
St Benedict’s School in Whitehaven is closed from today, Tuesday 28 January until Friday 31 January, after the school’s roof was damaged in the storm.
The closure comes after a site inspection took place yesterday to see if it was safe to return to the school.
It said: “Thank you again for your continued support and understanding at a very difficult time. We will keep you updated via EduLink.”
