A child was assaulted by a man at a football game in South Cumbria.
The incident took place earlier today, Sunday March 2, at Allithwaite Community Centre, in Allithwaite, near Grange-over-Sands.
On social media, a spokesman for South Lakes Police said: “A disturbing incident occurred this afternoon at Allithwaite Community Centre.
“During an under 14s football game a child was assaulted on the pitch by an adult male.
“If anybody has any information in relation to this assault, please can they contact us quoting log number CP-20250303-0121.”
