A major search is continuing for a 72-year-old sailor missing off the Solway Coast.
Emergency services including Coastguard rescue teams, mountain rescue teams and RNLI crews have been looking for the sailor, named as Alistair Turnball from Dumfries and Galloway.
He was last seen on Tuesday afternoon sailing in the Bay of Fleet area.
The Coastguard said they have since been able to identify his boat, which was traced in the Wigtown Bay area.
Drones have also been used in the search and the Coastguard helicopter has also conducted searches in the Solway.
