The quarter-finals of the Knock-Out Cup competition in the West Cumbria Mixed Triples League were played recently and the results were as follows: Workington A 6 Harris Park A 3; Whitehaven A 9 Whitehaven B 0; Maryport 4 Seaton 5; Wigton 8 Seascale 1.
The semi-finals are scheduled for July 29 and are to be played on neutral greens.
In the league, six matches were played on Tuesday of last week (July8 ) and the results were as follows: Seaton 4 Maryport 5; Croft 3 Egremont 6; Harris Park B 5 Whitehaven B 4; Whitehaven A 7 Harris Park A 2; Cleator Moor 5 Vulcan Park 4.
The scheduled matches involving Wigton, Seascale and the two Workington teams were postponed because of County Cup commitments.

West Cumbria Fours League
It was celebration time on Friday of last week as Workington B won their first game of the season and did so in style, with a 7-0 win at Vulcan Park. The win moved them off the bottom of the table into seventh place.
