Penrith paid the price for a disappointing first-half performance in the FA Vase.
They were well off the pace in the opening 45 minutes and trailed Campion 2-0 at the break.
Manager Jim Nichols made changes at half-time and tweaked the formation resulting in a much better display.
They pulled a goal back on the hour and looked capable of completing the comeback.
But the equaliser wouldn’t come and it was Campion who broke to score a third and wrap up the tie near the end.
The Bradford side are no mugs, playing at the same level as Penrith and just missing out in play-offs last season.
The Bonny Blues have to regroup and prepare for games on Wednesday at North Shields and at home to Marske on Saturday.
After a slow start Penrith conceded on 13 minutes when Patrick Sykes put Campion ahead after he got free at the near post.
Ewan Gregson doubled the lead on 34 minutes with a deflected shot.
Connor Shields put Penrith back into the tie with a goal on the hour but Campion held on and added a third through Aiden Day three minutes from time.
