Barrow gave their poorest performance of the season when they lost their final home game to Halifax Panthers.
It finished 44-10 to the visitors with the Panthers scoring 22 points in each half.
Luke Cresswell crossed for Barrow in the first half with Alex Bishop touching down after the break and Brad Walker landing the conversion.
Barrow coach Paul Crarey said: “It was disappointing to finish off in front of our fans like that after the good season we have had.
“It didn’t help losing Aaron Smith early in the game but we were erratic, inviting them onto us and didn’t do what we were meant to.”
Barrow don’t have a fixture this week-end and finish off at Sheffield Eagles on September 14.
