An emergency closure has been put in place for a Cumbrian bridge.
Holme Farm Bridge in Appleby is now closed to pedestrians and vehicles.
It follows an order earlier in the year prohibiting vehicles from crossing the bridge.
Westmorland and Furness Council said: “Further underwater investigations have discovered one of the abutments has been undermined and council officers are now in discussions with the bridge owner about the next steps.”
