Barrow Island and Egremont Rangers can still make their respective play-offs in the National Conference.
So far Hensingham are the only Cumbrian side to qualify for the end of season shoot-outs.
They travel to St Helens tomorrow to take on Clock Face Miners which is virtually a clash to decide who will be second or third in the play-offs.
Barrow Island are in competition with Normanton Knights and Drighlington for the final play-off spot.
The Islanders will be looking to beat county rivals Ellenborough, who are already relegated while their rivals have contrasting fixtures.
Drighlington are at home to 100% leaders East Leeds while Normanton travel to relegated Thornhill Trojans.
Possibly crucial is the fact that the Islanders have two games left after tomorrow but the others just have one.
In Division One Egremont Rangers are a point behind Oldham St. Anne’s who are currently in the final play-off place.
But the Cumbrian have a tough ask tomorrow when they visit leaders Wigan St Jude’s while St Anne’s visit Stanningley who are already virtually confirmed as to be taking part in the play-offs.
Kells, meanwhile, will be looking to record their eighth win of the season when they entertain a Crosfield side who occupy the third relegation place, six points behind their hosts.
In the top flight Wath Brow are the only Cumbrian representative but this has probably been their least successful campaign since they joined the Conference set-up.
They complete their fixtures tomorrow at home to Rochdale Mayfield, another side who have not been as successful as recent years.
However they are immediately above Wath Brow in the table in seventh place and can still make the play-offs with a win and hope that Hunslet ARLFC slip up at West Hull.
There’s no doubt that the Hornets, well served by their younger players last week, will want to deny Mayfield that win and complete their season with the right result.
In the Holmen Iggesund Cumberland ARL Kells A lost their 100% First Division record when they lost 50-26 in a feisty game at home to Distington A.
It boiled over at one point and Distington’s Jack Worthington (punching) and Kells’ Brandon O’Connor (retaliation) were both sent off.
Distington also had Scott George sin-binned for dissent.
Dan Grears, Jamie Jennings, Oscar Cook, Nathan Clark and Patrick Suofoa scored the Kells tries with laine Graham (2) and Ryan Wood kicking goals.
The ten Distington tries were scored by Thomas Black (2), Callum Fox (2), Jack Penrice (2), Deaton Askew, Jaiden Hewer, Kyle Jenkinson and Robbie Worthington.
Kelvin Lynch (3) and Hewer (2) kicked the goals.
Distington A will be back in action tonight at home to Hensingham A in Division One.
With tomorrow’s Cumberland Cup semi-finals both conceded the two games taking place are Lowca v Glasson in the Premier Division and Maryport A v Egremont A in Division One.
